In creation of: FASSADE 

“Fassade” is a piece based on the story of a human being that is unable to

identify with oneself. How the question of ”Who am I?” Is in need to be taught to be a process. The public will be able to observe inner feelings, complications, turmoil from an outside perspective.

Trying to digest obstacles in the every day life of a human being. Daily you are coming across hundreds/ thousands of people on the street, they are simply ecounters. This piece makes you realize that people only show what they want you to perceive. This project is trying to do the exact opposition by demonstrating the things passers-by do not want you to feel. With this work Hanna Schaar wants to make you feel how it would be if the stranger across from you would be completely honest, if they would reveal

more than just their facade.

Uncomfort and indecisiveness.

Hanna Schaar started her research in the end of 2021 in Oaxaca, México as a work in progress.

Now her path leads her back to her solo- creation. This time with developed insights and

grown perspectives. “Fassade” is a solo piece initially created regarding and including somatic

practices, looking for solutions now the focus shifted in trying to find the roots of the cause.

The initiation of the process was trying to present an invented calmness covering up your inner

state (putting on a facade). This eventually transformed into breaking this self created shield

and confronting the being itself and people with the truth.
