31.5. Dance Workshop Magdalena Górnikiew

Improvisation within Invisible Chaos Practice | 10:00 - 13:00 at AUBERGiNE (Güntherstr. 1)

Beschreibung

This workshop is built around improvisational tasks that explore the body awareness and spatial perception. Through instant composition, participants will research how sensorial awareness influences movement choices in terms of quality, intensity and intention. Workshop is based on Magdalena's performative method - Invisible Chaos Practice (ICP). ICP focuses on exploring internal narratives and using them as a fuel for movement, while cultivating presence of the body in space. The practice celebrates individual movement languages within the group and embraces the emotional and sensorial vulnerability held by both body and mind. With a mindful approach to dance improvisation, ICP moves away from the pressure of producing or presenting the movement. Instead, it prioritizes the 'here and now' within the body to unleash consciousness and freedom. The workshop will be delivered in English. Price: 20€ (Please note that the workshop must be paid in cash) Registration via email: gornikiewiczz@gmail.com with the subjet: Workshop ICP March For who: Workshop is open to anyone aged 16+ who is working or practicing within the performing arts. ICP is designed for both professionals as well as amateurs. Experience in dance improvisation is welcome but not required.
