Swinge dein Leben im Rhythmus des Latin Jazz Dance. In diesem Workshop erkunden wir die Basics Technik des Jazz Dance, verbunden mit den lebendigen Rhythmen der lateinamerikanischen Musik. Wir beginnen mit Übungen zur Verbesserung von Haltung, Balance, Drehungen und Sprüngen, und schließen mit einer komplexeren Kombination ab. In this workshop, we explore the basic techniques of jazz dance, combined with the vibrant rhythms of Latin American music. We start with exercises to improve posture, balance, turns, jazz walks and finish with a dynamic choreography combination. Discover how much more your body can do!

Carolina ist eine kolumbianische Performance-Künstlerin, die seit 2019 in Österreich lebt und arbeitet. Mit einem starken Hintergrund sowohl im Unterrichten als auch im Performen ist sie leidenschaftlich daran interessiert, ihr lateinamerikanisches kulturelles Erbe in ihre künstlerische Arbeit einfließen zu lassen. Ihre Bewegungsarbeit ist in Floorwork, Improvisation, Partnering, Physical Theatre und Ballett verwurzelt – Disziplinen, die sie kontinuierlich reflektiert, erforscht und weiterentwickelt. Ihr Fokus liegt auf fundierter Tanzpädagogischer Arbeit in Kombination mit ihrem eigenen Tanzen & Performen auf der Bühne.
Carolina arbeitete als choreografische Assistentin im PuK-Programm (Pädagogik und Kunst) am Jungen Theater Wels und ist aktives Mitglied von RedSapata in Linz, wo sie die Workshopwochenenden "Wintertanztage" und "Sommertanztage" kuratiert. Ihre künstlerische Entwicklung wurde durch die Zusammenarbeit mit professionellen Tanzkompanien in Kolumbien und Österreich geprägt.

Carolina is a Colombian performance artist who has been living and working in Austria since 2019.
With a strong background in both teaching and performing, she is passionate about integrating her Latin American cultural heritage into her artistic work. Her movement practice is rooted in floorwork, improvisation, partnering, physical theatre, and ballet , disciplines she continuously reflects upon, researches, and develops further. Her focus lies in combining solid dance pedagogy with her own stage performance.
Carolina has worked as a choreographic assistant in the PuK program (Pedagogy and Art) at Junges Theater Wels and is an active member of RedSapata in Linz, where she curates the Wintertanztage and Sommertanztage festivals. Her artistic development has been shaped by collaborations with professional dance companies in both Colombia and Austria.
