Lee Jung
Jung In Lee wurde in Seoul, Korea geboren und hat an der Kyung Hee University ihre Ausbildung (M.A.) absolviert. Im Anschluss ging sie nach Berlin wo sie für verschiedene Choreographen wie Meredith Nadler, oder Javier Sanchez arbeitete. Nach der Performance „Average Speed of Answer“, hat sie sich verstärkt im osteuropäischen Raum als Solo-Tänzerin engagiert und dabei auch mit lokalen Künstlern aus Bulgarien, unter anderem bei Derida Dance und Atom Theater, zusammengearbeitet. Sie erhielt eine internationale Residency von Arts Council Korea in Sofia und Tel Aviv. Jung In Lee tanzte bei der National Contemprary Dance Company Korea und unterrichtete Contemporary Dance an der Korea National Sports University. Sie arbeitete im Präsidium für The Modern Dance Promotion of Korea und unterstützt dabei Korea neue Kontakte im Ausland zu knüpfen. 2015 zog sie nach Linz, wo sie sich nun auf ihre eigenen Werke konzentriert, die sie in diesem Jahr in einer Performance-Tour in Europa und Asien, die von Arts Council Korea und Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture unterstützt wird, präsentiert.
